Trip Overview
Embark on an extraordinary journey to Ethiopia, where rich history, vibrant culture, and the finest coffee origins converge. Discover three top coffee suppliers, select exclusive beans directly from them, and gain first-hand insight into Ethiopian coffee processing.
Dates: 6th – 13th December 2026
Arrival: Meet us in Addis Ababa on December 5th. We’ll start with a tour of Daye Bensa’s cutting-edge dry mill, then head to Hawassa, gateway to Ethiopia’s coffee heartland.Â
Highlights of the Trip
- Daye Bensa Coffee
Travel with us to Sidama Bensa, home of Daye Bensa Coffee. We’ll stay on the renowed Gatta Farm, process coffee, and visit washing stations in Bensa and Arbegona regions, such as Keramo and Rumudamo. - SNAP Coffee
We will visit SNAP Coffee’s Yirgacheffe operations and sites like Chelbesa and Danche. In East Guji, we’ll meet the producer Esayas Beriso and explore his unique processing techniques in West Guji, where he processes our Natural and Anaerobic Boku. - Sookoo CoffeeÂ
The last part of our journey, takes us deep into Guji’s lush forests where we will meet ‘The King of Guji’, Ture Waji. We’ll visit his Raro-Nensebo and Shakisho stations, discovering his passion for quality coffee. - Departure: We fly back from Hawassa to Addis Ababa on December 12th, unwind ‘Addis-style’, and prepare to return home on December 14th- right in time for a fresh start on Monday.

- International Flight (Arrival on 5th, latest 6th at 14:00): Arrivals from Western Europe are typically early morning; we’ll arrange airport transfer.

- Medical Checklist: Relevant vaccinations and light meds like; Painkiller, ORS, etc
