Finca Altagracia, from Santa María, Huila

Finca Altagracia is located in Vereda Santa Librada, Santa María, Huila, Colombia, and is managed by William Hernando Largo, a 36‑year‑old coffee producer. The farm spans 2 Ha at 2,100 m.a.s.l., where William grows Pink Bourbon (2,200 trees) alongside other traditional varieties (an additional ~3,000 trees).

William follows a carefully managed process: he harvests ripe cherries and selects them before a 36‑hour dry fermentation in tile tanks. After thourough washing, the coffee is dried in a marquesina for 10 to 16 days, depending on the weather.

High Elevation, Deep Roots

William’s coffee journey began with his parents, who taught him the craft. Twenty years ago, he purchased his own piece of land, Finca Altagracia. At 2,100 meters above sea level, the farm benefits from Santa María’s extreme elevation, where cool temperatures and slow cherry maturation concentrate sugars and complexity in the Bourbon Rosado variety.

We began working with William and Finca Altagracia in 2026, and we are excited to keep building this relationship.
