The city has a strategic location between our three main sourcing regions, and the only Dry Port in Brazil to facilitate easy logistics. Going deeper into Sul de Minas, we identify an award-winning region for specialty coffee. The favourable climate, together with a local artisan approach has been at the basis of success.
Producers show dedication at all stages of production, investing in solid infrastructure and Research & Development. You feel the tradition in coffee farming the moment you step onto older farms in Sul de Minas. The region has a mild temperature between and high elevation up to 1,400 m.a.s.l.
Cup profile: Medium body, higher acidity, sweet with a touch of citric and floral notes. The higher altitudes showcase a more velvety body and notes of caramel, chocolate, almonds and citrus and other fruit.
