Sítio Cachoeira is located in Conceição das Pedras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and is managed by Antônio Clemente da Silva. The farm sits at an elevation of 1,130 masl and spans 34 hectares of land dedicated to growing the Red Catuaí variety.
Antônio starts his process by selectively harvesting ripe cherries and letting them dry in open patios for 16 to 20 days, with constant movement throughout the day to ensure an even drying process.
Antônio Clemente da Silva represents honed skills and traditional knowledge. His Red Catuaí, grown with utmost care, has captivated roasters worldwide, earning Sítio Cachoeira a spot among the region’s most respected farms.
But Antônio’s journey isn’t just about tradition—it’s about perseverance. In a world where commodity prices often overshadow quality, he doubled down on specialty coffee, refusing to let his beans be lost in a sea of bulk exports.
We began working with Antônio and Sítio Cachoeira in 2024, and we are very excited to continue bringing in his Red Catuaí!
